[WAD] Always sunny in Israel

Post by temkc5 »

In Israel and a part of the Mediterranean The map says it's daytime at 12 o'clock at night does anybody else have this issue

Please delete if it's been flagged already I just couldn't find it

Sadly no pictures or game save as matrix thinks it's too big

Did you make sure to turn on "Day & Night Lighting" from the View menu?

Probably good to put up the version you are running...

I set local time to noon. And almost all the mideast map is day. But as you move the cursor around, the databox shows its night in some spots that seem to be random. Note the databox from the cursor hovering over Israel. Again, the local time is noon.

OK, I think we can kind of never mind my test. As soon as I hit start, all the day/night issue went away. If there is an issue, its with the sim not globally updating day/night labels until the first CPU cycle after changing times.

Just ran several tests. The night/day change doesn't fully execute until you hit start...consistently. But it does do it on start. Not a huge issue.

Am pretty sure that if you have a unit selected then the correct Day/Night algorithms kick in immediately.
