Mod Idea- Question

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Mod Idea- Question

Post by 75Pak »

Hello,

I have enjoyed Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa and Case Blue , but I have some questions about modding Case Blue.

I want to mod it to do the following-

1) Allow for a "what if" in regards to "what if Stavka recognized this as the major German offensive and began a massive response by the second week of July after recognizing this as the main offensive." [basically a much more rapid Soviet response- more Soviet units arriving into the area, and at a more rapid pace]

2) What if the Germans had allocated their otherwise idle mountain divisions [the four that were in Norway/Finland] to this offensive, along with 2-3 other divisions taken from France and Yugoslavia, boosting their total by 4 German mountain divisions + 2-3 other German infantry divisions.

3) SS Florian Geyer Cavalry division becomes available sometime in the autumn of 1942. It seems this division would have been ideal for deployment in the Caucuses and should have been deployed there.

Any thoughts on how that might be worked? Are there any mods doing anything close to that yet? Sorry if I am asking questions have already been addressed, this is my first post here and I am new to this forum.
