In the above post I was moaning that the supplies requested wasn't prepositioned for us and I'm looking in the

editor and I don't see a way to make that happen. Maybe that's why it's never done.

I sent an email to Brian this morning, part of my effort to keep him in my loop, and he says he has

to babysit today and he had some real life chores to do so he estimated tomorrow night ( Friday night )

as the first opportunity for maybe having something to send me. I told him there's no hurry. So I'm

guessing I'll have something to post early Saturday morning. Sorry about the lapse.

When I'm not working on the game I have with Brian I'm usually working on my anti-AI game where I'm the Allies.

I'm playing as the Allies because I want some insight into what he might be thinking at any one time and I can

only do that if I'm in approx. the same situations he's in. That's the theory.

I'm right now going through the cities setting up the supplies needed and I'm thinking how wonderful it would be

if the scenario designer had already done that for me. For us. A few thousand mouse clicks would have been

saved. By every player of that scenario. Just a thought.

Image

This is something I never do as the Allies in stock - I have all the supply in the world at start. In RHS, I would check via Tracker if you have enough oil/resources/fuel before expansion in CONUSA . My USA in RHS I scen 102 barely breaks even.

So it's rough for the Allies too then. D'oh. I thought it was the Japs that were getting the short

end of the stick. Well, this is welcome news for my game with Brian, but yeah, I see how that would

put a damper on Allied circumstances. This is part of the reason I'm playing the Allied side, to find

out things like this. Thanks for your insight. I probably would have discovered it myself after about

a week of playing. I'm slow when I'm inebriated you see. Inebreated? Innebriated?

Too much sake perhaps?

USA have enough supplies, but if you get greedy and start developing LI/HI from the start, you will run into fuel/res deficit in CONUSA. Repair res centers and oil wells alongside LI/HI.

Tracker has region tabs under Industry section. You should see the whole CONUSA there.

I prefer medical marijuana. For my PTSD.

I can well imagine how that would work out that way. I can see the wisdom of your advice. Thanks.

What surpsises me is all those 0(1) LI's and 0(1) RES places all over the map, even dot hexes. And

a lot of those places don't have the supply to do the expansion. It's already paid for except in terms

of supply. So I find myself sending those one-ship TF's with a load of supplies out to the various

places that need some to boost their repairs. I'm even thinking of going for the dot hexes just for

the RES that might be had there. I realize that I can't turn off the LI once it's up and running so

I'm wondering what would happen if I just ignored the LI and just repaired the RES. Turn stockpilling

on and watch the RES pile up slowly.

Yeah, I found that and it IS really helpful. I can't play this game without Tracker now that I'm

used to it. It's a real time saver for sure. I can see some areas that need attention yet with it

however. For instance, the pilots section. I can't find a way to see the skill levels of the

various pilots. I need an easy way to know when to switch a training class from one skill to

another. As it is now I have to look at the individual squadrons and there are hundreds of them.

You get the picture.

I'm playing the Allied side of an anti-AI game until I get some moves from Brian and I've just now discovered that the
RHS II map doesn't have a direct connection from Aden to Abadan. See for yourself. I'm having to make a pit stop in
Karachi and THEN go to Abadan. It's a small hassle.

Here's the results of the Pearl Strike. One (1) DMS was sunk. With no Jap losses. That calls for another strike.

EDIT: I received some moves from Brian about 3 minutes ago now and I'm watching the combat replay
and I thought you guys might like to see what's happening as it happens along with me. There's about
a dozen of you guys logged on and you are part of the specticle if you want to be. I've got a feeling
that Manila is going to get plastered, we'll see.

Here's the first of about three sweeps I'm hoping will happen. This is the top cover group and they did a pretty good
job. I'm looking for some more of the same from my guys.

And the next strike was a hit on Wake. Two good hits on the ground.

And the next strike is on the port next to Tarakan, I forget the name, starts with a T, and I got a good hit on a ship.
Great. Good practice. They were attacking to the east and the sun was in their eyes. I'll send 'em an email.

And what followed was this strike on Iba. The bombers were escorted and there were at least two sweeps by Zeros
simultaneously and the Allied side got creamed a little bit. Sorry about that Brian. I'll send 'em an email.

And then there was this strike on...I don't remember where. But it got lots of good hits on the aircraft on the
ground and lots of runway hits. One more good hit like this one and it'll be shut down I think.

And the next thing was this tiny strike on T-town on Luzon. It's a good start to shutting down the airfield.

And next was this strike on Georgetown by unescorted bombers and they flew into a hornet's next. They were lucky to get
away with only one loss. And they did a fairly good job on the airfield as well.

EDIT: I'm obviously going to need to sweep this airfield before I bomb it again.
