In the Arabian Sea, do you wish to abort before the 2nd round. Axis will be staying.

Solomons rolls of 9/1 result in allies BB find the CAs and sub (which was committed). You have 7 or 8 surprise points (depending if you include the 4-box in the battle or not). Your choice?
1. Include 4-box, which gives me 7 SP's (I believe)?
2. Default to surface battle.
3. So if I've figured right, starting results against the IJN ships/sub is X, D & 3A and against the USN ships is X & 2A.
4. Use all SP's to shift results against the IJN ships 3-columns to the right, 2X, D & A.
5. Apply X against Washington and if it survives then apply the A's.

Arabian Sea. Stay and avoid combat if possible.

I believe you miss figured, used the sub & ASW row and not the surface row.
Allies vs Axis: 16 factors vs 3 ships starts at X A, moving it up 3 columns (6 SP) moves it to X 2D 2A
Axis vs Allies: 13 factors (sub reduced 1 in surface) vs 2 ships starts at a D 3A

Still likely to clear me, so I am assuming your use of surprise is the same. I'll wait a few minutes to see if you respond before continuing.

Solomon Islands result below. Both US BB aborted to Pearl (feel free to move them elsewhere if desired)
JP sub sunk, Aigara damaged and aborted, and Tone aborted - clearing the zone of axis units.

MA43 i8 Axis
Lost my ground support images. The Stuka near Mannerheim struck at the RU INF nearby, but missed. The ART near Moscow struck Zhukov's hex and missed.

There are 3 land attacks. Near Leningrad and 2 in the south shown in the image below. You have a fighter that could fly as a bomber and support one of them. Will you?

MA43 EOT Partisan. A partisan showed up in Poland. Resources in ZOC. Lodz was open, so I placed him there - denying the Germans the use of the red factory this turn. You may change that if you wish.

Pat, I have a question on the +14 land combat next to Leningrad. Why didn't you include the two Finnish units in the attack? Being snow weren't they able to attack across the frozen lake or do I have this wrong?

End of Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. IJN Intercept Attempt. Arabian Sea.

The RN heavy cruiser Edinburgh moving at flank speed through the Arabian Sea easily avoids an IJN intercept attempt.
