What about anti sub sweeps in Malacca's Strait? A good occasion for CAP traps as well?

Yank paratroops....the troops to garrison that island are leaving Nagoya as we speak.
Now I need to figure out my response. I bet the Allies are using their damaged two carriers close by.
Another good occasion to eliminate and eat out some additional allied assets? Or, is your opponent counting on overwhelming your command and organizational ability to handle such multiple, massive and spread engagements and prods?
RE: Soviets Activated....
These turns are just absolute bears to finish...action everywhere as the Allies are relentless in their attacks.
Here is lower Sumatra...the 4th Division is being flown in to anchor Palembang, and will rebuild there rather than near Singers. I will be flying in the A,B, and C units so that it rebuilds faster.
Not pictured is most likely a counter invasion of Wake, which is held by just a engineer unit.
On the resource side, another positive day at Honshu, so I have at least temporarily turned the corner there.
The first 1/3rd of a Division is loading on transports for the Soviet Front and that will continually happen over the next three months at least.
Japan is hard pressed!
I am on the fence about countering the American Paratroops...unfortunately there is 10/10 dl on the Shokaku task force, and it certainly is within range of hitting the paratroops, or what I figure is reinforcing troop ships but is it just a feint? I need better naval search...bad weather isn't helping there...but might help in any surface fight.

I meant to have cap traps...but the orders got lost last turn.[:(]
I can't send ASW TF sweeps...the Allies have three British Cruisers at Singers.

RE: Soviets Activated....
36 elite Zeroes arrive at Magwe...and dogfight with Hurricanes and 4E beasts...despite having some great interceptions, not a single 4E is destroyed but at least they are damaged.
Djambi is attacked again by Lightnings, catching and destroying many Nates. Bombers come, but damage is minimal.
Soviets bomb heavily...with no air interception by the Japanese Air Forces. Our traps are missed, and instead a CL is targeted and hit by two bombs...system damage now to 66 (in the Straits of Malacca).
Oosthaven is heavily targeted, perhaps the Allies plan on invading there?
A daytime bombardment of Sabang doesn't draw the expected air attack, but at least does some damage on the ground.

Kuriles...
I should be able to take the island back, and then use elements of the Kure 3rd SNLF to take some of those Soviet DOT bases...get some engineers there, which I actually have enroute...and it will help beef up the northern approaches.
Now to find troops somewhere for Wake.

RE: Soviets Activated....
Turn is off to the Allies:
Deliberate attacks at Lashio and Wenchow.
Invasion in the Kuriles in a day. I expect heavy fighting at Alexandrovsk...but reinforcements there are two or three days away.
Amassing invasions of Sakhalin, large convoy to steam up the Straits of Malacca, reinforcing Singers, taking more bases in the SRA, and the Soviet Islands (Bering), and islands north of Sabang...all in the works.

Just a friendly reminder to do so future prepping of troops as you invasion bonus comes to an end. You probably have a few more place on your list you want to take. [;)]
