Server connection error

Post by Sugar »

Another server connection error occurred after playing my turn. The game is still green, which means I have to repeat the whole turn again.

This is getting extremely annoying, especially if you`re playing 5 PbEMs at the same time, and you`ll have to repeat nearly every second turn.

I prefer the old system of exchanging saved turns via E-Mail, should anyone ask.

Sugar,
Until the developers add going back if both agree and saving replays so you can look game at while other player is moving and/or look at at the end I would agree.
I have had few of the server issues but feel the loss of loading a game and what it provided.

I´m not asking for a new feature, I just prefer the same convenience as before. Although I support your wish, I`m familiar with the one time showing replay. I guess the leastly showing up server issues are more important.

Sorry to hear about the trouble and I'll raise the possibility on my end with the server team if it is indeed server related, and not simply connection related, but in the meantime I would suggest to possibly save the game in progress during your turn every once in a while to limit the number of times where you have to replay the turn completely over again.

Thanks for your advice, Hubert.

I guess depending on a connection and a server are additional error sources, and at the end it doesn`t matter why you`re not able to use a program, or it doesn`t work correctly.
