Thanks...but personally not interested in a comparison between the 1st version and the new version...was more hoping for details on how this specific version plays. For example, how solid is the AI? What does it do well and not so well? Do results seem believable? How long does a game take? If I am not mistaken this has campaign features....how good are they? How do they work? etc. I know what the marketing material has said, just curious from actual players that have played it.

If only Norbsoft would go down this path of ancient gaming. His combat engine would be the beall endall of ancient wargaming. Either his or command ops. Spartan comes very close as I like to command more than move a thousand pieces around the maps like some f these monster games.

Well,I kinda have to differ with you there. We've all been down the hype road before and this game will be no different there til we actually try it out for free for 2 hours tomorrow.

As for it being worth any price I have to differ there as well. It has to be a game that is good within the price range of a game of that calibur. It's no MWIF without an AI for sure. I certainly wouldn't pay $100 for it either. I have my price range and I guess you don't have one.

I'll buy 2 copies and you pay me double what I paid since price doesn't seem to matter. [:'(]

was meant imo it could be priced around the normal cost of high end games here, in the same type etc eg £24.99 to £32.99 price range etc but if it's £36.99, i'd still pay it.

i'm no good with Dollars either, so no i also wouldn't pay $100 for it (75.70 British Pound) as i don't pay high end prices for games unless it makes my tea for me and also brings me cake[:D]
