I just finished "Iron Coffins" which is a U-boot book......very good.
I also read..... "It Never Snows in September" Which is the German view of the "Battle of Arnhem"........and it was REAAAAAAALLLLY GOOOOD

Just read Rich Atkinson's "An Army at Dawn" and I found it quite enjoyable. It is about the US Army in North Africa and is the first in a planned trilogy About a third of the way through Charles McDonald's "A Time for Trumpets" about the Battle of the Bulge. Pretty good read so far.

Just read "Band of Brothers". Was quite enjoyable. It was amazing how many of the cast really resembled the charactors.
I enjoyed it so much I began reading "D-Day: The Climactic Battle of WWII".... another one by Ambrose. It too was very good.

The Simple Sounds of Freedom, by Thomas Taylor. Story of Joe Beyrle, 101st Airborne Div. Escaped capture, twice, wound up fighting with the Soviets. Random House. Good Story.
