How to rebase CVP onto CV in same hex

Hi,

I've got a CVP in Gib and a CV in Gib that it will fit on. During air rebase I'd like to put the CVP onto the CV. I have tried selecting CVP from ribbon on upper left and clicking on Gib but it just marks CVP as moved it doesn't offer option of landing on CV. I've also tried ctrl-click which doesn't work. Does anyone know how to do this?

Does the plane fit on the carrier in the hex?

Yes, after looking at it some more I realized the plane is already on the CVP. However he wasn't on there earlier in the game so I'm not sure how I got him on there. I didn't know what the black dot is next to the plane - I think it means loaded on CV after looking at all my ports with CV's.
