I'm making new landings near the Celebes. One of them is at Sorong. The idea is to grab the base and build up
the airfield and port and use it as a staging area for further adventures. I really need that airfield working
soonest too.

Yeah, I was wondering where all my BB's anc CA's had gone. I found some of them in the shipyards getting repaired
but I have no idea what damaged them. Maybe it's a built-in upgrade for them for this scenario.

I've got some people just about to land at Chukai on the east coast of Malaya and I forgot to assign some top
cover for them. It's been okay so far but I've got some carriers nearby that I can move into the AO.

Yeah, and RHS has a LOT more shipyards than stock. About 100% more than stock at least. There
was an earlier post in this thread about the repair yards and where they are and how big they are
and so on.....it was a cut and paste of several pictures and I don't remember where it is in this
thread.

I think there might be something wrong with the scenario but I'm not sure. Tanabe is a city on the main island
and it's got an airfield there almost. It's a level 0 field right now but if you could expand it the terrain
would support a level 3 airfield but the expand button is missing. D'oh. I feel like I've been teased.

I found some naval aircraft squadrons that had lost their plane(s) and so I put them on training to get SOME
good out of the squadron while it's waiting for it's plane. I realize that I'll have to monitor these bad boys
for when they get a plane to put 'em back on search.

I've got plans to take Tarakan and Balikpapan and they are going to need some top cover from the carriers so I'm refurbishing them just prior to making a run down
the slot near Balikpapan and maybe parking off the coast of Java for a few rounds just to get a taste of the environment. Maybe I'll scare Brian.

I've shipped out all the ARM and INF and all that's left at Samah is the Engnieers and some AA units. And an HQ.
I haven't decided where I need the HQ at....I'm leaning toward Singkawang.

Tracker just now told me that Marcus island is overstuffed. There's a new name for Marcus island but that's the
name I know for that island. It's got two INF units on it and it only needs one so I gotta move one of 'em.
I'll find a good home for it.

EDIT: I just now checked and Wake and Kwajalien have the same problem.

Now I'm going through all the major hubs and I see where I forgot to set the transport TF's properly and they
started to load all the supply Tokyo had. I caught it too late and Tokyo got really low on supplies but they
are starting to climb again so the crisis is largely over. There's more troop transports leaving Tokyo each
turn but they are arranged properly. I'm being more careful about the TF's and the loading arrangements.

Now I'm checking out the available ships and I see where to get a transport I gotta capture Cebu sometime in the
next three weeks. I'll see if I can find some available troops to do that.

The Sunk-Ship-O-meter says that the Prince of Wales is sunk but I have no memory of that happening so I think
it is a case of fog of war.

Here's three weeks worth of production since the Pearl Strike. Everybody who's being produced is increasing
slowly and everybody whose not being produced is slowly decreasing just like the laws of physics predicted.
Isn't science wonderful? I still see engines I don't need to produce so I obviously need to go through the
engines again. Decide who I need to fly, cull those who I don't need and make a list of what I'm producing
and figure out the engines for them. Simple. Won't take more than a couple of hours.

Here's the list of pilots in the reserve and I notice right off the bat that
of the 2.5K pilots in the reserve most of them are in the Navy and
most of them haven't had a mission yet. I've got too many bomber pilots and
not enough fighter pilots so I thought I'd sort the list on EXP and go to
the bottom of the list where the worst bomber pilots are and I'm wondering
now how to get them into the fighter program. I'm thinking I need to go to
those squadrons that need fighter pilots to pick "choose a veteran" or whatever
the wording is, to get a list of the pilots in the reserve and then
choose the lowest proficiency bomber pilots. That's what I'll do I guess.

EDIT: I just now thought of a better idea. I'll cull the highest skilled
pilots out of the training squadrons like I usually do and then replace
them with the lowest skilled bomber pilots.

Here's three ex-bomber pilots incoorporated into a fighter training squadron. I don't know why I didn't think
of this before. That's why I can't seem to win at this game....I don't think.

Here's a squadron where I've moved into the general reserve all but two of the best pilots. Those two remaining
best pilots are the "teachers" who will nurture the others like a pseudo-instructor. And I'm overstuffing the
needed pilots with the lowest in the bomber category. Sometimes they don't fit in all that well, like these
don't. I'll either get 'em trained or get rid of 'em. One way or the other. If they can't be trained then I
don't need them in the fighter corps.

Here's an operational squadron with a ground attack mission. I got rid of enough fighter pilots to make a need
of pilots by moving them to the general reserve and then introduced some bomber pilots with a particularly high
proficiency in ground bombing. This way I get some bomber pilots into the fighter squadrons and this particular
ground pounding mission gets some better ground pounders. This can be done permanently or temporarily. I'm
thinking of making this mission pure bomber pilots for the remainder of this ground attack mission and then when
it gets switched to escort or some mission that calls for a fighter personality then I'll switch the pilots to
those who have a skill in fighter missions.

Here's that same squadron that is on a ground attack mission with some bomber pilot replacements. I neglected to
remember there's a lag in getting the pilot physically into the unit and it appears that it's going to be the
better part of a week before all of them arrive.

just missing from the Roster. I haven't lost that many planes yet.....could I really have lost that many pilots?

No, you've not lost them in combat!

Meanwhile I found a TF composed of 9 Chinese Junks and when you get the
ship display it's got the new ship art displayed. I get a kick out of
that.
