New Scenario for Testing: An Independent State

Post by DismalPseudoscience »

Not sure if this is "too soon", but here is a scenario based on very current events - the Kurdish independence referendum, and the apparently ongoing Iraqi advance on Kirkuk.

Here you control the Iraqi air force, and are tasked with striking Kurdish targets around Kirkuk and the K1 airbase in advance of a general ground offensive.

Whipped this up in about 1.5hrs; so very much a working draft. Scoring in particular is not yet calibrated. Hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think.

Edit: Forgot to mention - this does not require CoW and is built in v1.12

Hi dismalpseudoscience,

I believe the proper term for this scenario is called "Live" [:D]

Thanks for posting I'll check it out and get back to you

Note that targets seem to be out of range for default loadout Frogfoot. You might want to set Long Range loadouts as default (pre-configured).

I believe this is only true if they fly at low altitude to the targets; in testing I hit targets near Kirkuk with the Su-25s just fine, although with little time to linger in the area. On mobile device right now, but I can try to see if a "high low high" load out is available to make life easier for anyone using the mission planner.
