Sometimes things said in Nitwit sound very different in English.

This would be interesting, as then there would be both a BtSl and a BTS ARRs being done.

Makes some sense to me. I've left it with BigRed for choice.

Got in the January 13, 1945 turn and it was completely BORING. The turn ran in 25 minutes. These normal take almost twice that.

This makes THREE done today.

Hope for a 4th later on...

Forgot to mention spotting the 1.0x10^6 approaching up the China Coast. Imagine he'll try out the new big port of Shanghai to see if everything fits.[8|] Having anticipated this, I ordered 4 I-Boats to load mines and have them going in on four different hexes of China coastline.

Goodness. Look at what tried to sneak up on the Imperial Fleet. Vc-Adm Yamaguchi LAUGHS! Can you say 'No survivors?' Yep. I thought you could...

January 14, 1945

Here are the air losses of the day.

This includes a Corsair SWEEP of Nagasaki with 260 of the beasts. They encounter 231 Japanese and then three small waves of B-24 come in. Of the 24 B-24 committed ONLY ONE escapes the inferno that is Nagasaki this day.

BANZAI!

Have to have dinner and will then detail the HIGHLY entertaining events of the turn.

Interesting that he'd strike unescorted. Think he fudged his settings? He's definitely in range for his fighters to escort. Did you manage to get your own strike package off in return?

Unfortunately not. I had--as described earlier--flown in 60 fresh attack planes and had everybody down for the day because I didn't want my bombers to impale themselves on Suva or Noumea's CAP. That is remedied this turn coming...

Let us see what the enemy plans. We wiped out all his strike aircraft and so Yamaguchi prepares to attack. The total aircraft on the carriers is: 151 Sam, 63 Judy, and 29 Jill. CAP is set at 50%.

Here is the screenshot. Set re-act to maximum. Let's play...

Keep in mind that with his strike destroyed (or at least crippled) he might decide to go 100% cap. Who knows?

Bomb Pearl Harbor...again.

THAT would be kind of fun. Hit it with 19 CV/CVLs with over 1,100 aircraft...

Wonder what he has there?

Has Pearl become a backwater in his moving supplies lines further south.....Can you get there unseen?

Just want to note that this is INSANE! Therefore, it does have some appeal...

To treat this idea seriously--for just a second--I would have to fuel up four TFs, travel across the seas--unseen, and then attack a hardened target without any form of intelligence. Did I miss anything?
