Startup.Exe Error

Whenever I attempt to start Uncommon Valor I get this:

Error. Access violation at (0x841D0000(tried reading from 0x841D0000) Prgram Terminated.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled countless times. I have tried updating from the webpage, True Update of just run the disk without any patches. Same result (but different error ##)

I wonder if after uninstalling there is something still on the HD that is causing the new install to be corrupted......


Thoughts?

see if you can run the uncommonvalor.exe by itself. The start.exe is just a shell. If that bombs too, rename the video directory to something else (disabling the videos) and see if that changes anything. Report back what happened...

I managed to get the game working using a different CD-ROM drive. It did not like one the the two for some reason.
