Ship Values for Victory

Post by Moltke71 »

The manual says:

Each ship
has victory points based on its characteristics and equipment.

Do we add up all the values to get the total value or just specific ones?

This is how the value of every ship is calculated:

Code: Select all

 basic value (BV) = MANPOWER/10 + 3 x QUALITY + HULL + RAM

 equipment pluses (cumulative)
 if has engines <--------- BV x 1.15 (+15%)
 if has rowers <---------- BV x 1.15 (+15%)
 if has fire capability <- BV x 1.25 (+25%)
 if has sails <----------- BV x 1.1 (+10%)
 if has corvus <---------- BV x 1.1 (+10%)
 if has harpax <---------- BV x 1.3 (+30%)
 if has firepots <-------- BV x 1.4 (+40%)

captured ships gives 150% of its value
sunk, rammed and consumed in flames gives its full value
inmobilized ships gives 75% of its value
 crippled ships 50%

treasure ships double its value (so a captured treasure ship triple its value at the victory points calculation)
