Supply Query all versions including 2.7

Post by Majorball68 »

The 1-4 3rd Russian infantry appears to be tracing supply through a Bulgarian ZOC:

Sorry, my last post was rather rushed.

My thoughts were that, if the hex containing the letters 'GAR' from the word 'BULGARIA' is Russian controlled then that division can count 4 hexes to a Bucharest, which if also Russian controlled would be providing a secondary supply source.

Lots of if's there, because I can't tell which side controls the hexes in question. So the problem might not be so much that the unit is in supply, it's that its not coming from Yeremenko.

A saved game would help clear things up I think.

Or the Russians control the hex to the south-east ("Mar" of river name) of the 3rd Infantry Division and it is getting a free rail hex to the south-west (resource hex), which it shouldn't for tracing a basic supply path?

Looks like a bug to me. Could you please post a saved game?

Thee are times when the program doesn't recalculate supply when it should. So don;t be surprised if when you restore the saved game the program has the supply correct.

There is a trade-off between having the program manically recalculate supply continuously (time consuming) versus reducing the occasions the machine recalculates supply (may leave supply status unchanged when it should change).
