Windows Defender warning but using McAfee?

Hi Again

I just started getting these warnings; maybe an update changed something; they say I have no anti virus or firewall. I've had Windows Defender and Firewall disabled for some time
using McAfee Security Suite (Windows 8.1). I don't trust Windows Defender by itself and always thought it best to Run only ONE Anti-virus. Am I wrong?

I tried both on and a game took forever to load...

IMHO, If you are sure you have your McAfee AV working fine, just turn off your windows messages about antivirus software and carry on..,

if you use more than one anti virus on the same pc, they can cause a conflict, unless you make one run active and the other passive etc, regarding firewalls and the auto tool windows uses to check, you can disable the app from showing or giving the warnings if you wish, but most upto date ones will or should be shown by the app also
