chat issue

Is there anyway to enter more chat characters? this is a great game for discussion with opponents. Panzer corps, for example, allows you to pretty much put a book out there. I would really like a chat box that would allow actual discussion concerning strategy etc. also, multiple boxes. sometimes I put something at the beginning, then think of something later.
