Counter Values Editor

Post by gbaby »

For previous TOAW players, have you folks played with the Counter Values Editor found in the second panel of the "Player Options"? Right click to see the entire selection possibilities?

I really find this very useful. I use an RTS keypad off the left of my keyboard programmed with TOAW keys and this is mapped to a thumb button, so I can change the values very quickly. It is great to see stack values plus things like AT values, Armor defense, ferry values, engineering, rail repair, it has everything.

It is limited to 5 cycles before repeating, wish there was more, but understand why you can't have too many. But being able to set the counter values to anything you want is really slick.

I spent a few hours today just reading the manual on the hunt for new, and it is certainly filled with really nice nuggets. I kept thinking how did we ever lived without this before!

Yeah that's a great new feature. Larry talked about this months ago, so was no surprise for me.

You talked about that feature, that you could make the counter to show other things instead of movement and soft and hard attack. Was many months ago...

It must have been a throw-away remark because I can't remember it. LOL.

Can't believe I found it (note to myself, always use google instead of searching through the forum...)
