Indeed. But it was good enough. [:)] And it was more important that the German forces stayed organized. I would have been deeply disappointment if the die rolls would have been reversed.

Comments to the Eot for Germany.

Do not forget to order the all the CP to stay at sea. One of them is not at sentry so it will return to base unless ordered to stay.

I usually place the synth in a city with at least two factories so that the factories give some protection to the synth form destruction by bombers. This because factories will be destroyed before the synth and they are cheaper to repair, and faster.

Well given that they have the ART I need to attack and there is only one hex for that. Is there any mileage in putting some Germans in southern France I wonder? I would need to check the garrison as they would have to come from Poland.

I'll come up with a plan of attack in the next day or so.

I would leave it and hope for better weather. It is early in the turn and decent chance for better weather. 60% for fine weather.

That is where I was coming out - my one fear is that their ground strike via artillery has proven so devastating (plus of course the weather may never improve). This is why I thought it sensible to get a second opinion. I think I will leave it and may have to use an HQ to reorganise some aircraft.

You try to extent the line to the South? Forcing France to extend their line seems a good thing.

I think I would save the HQs for later impulses and not reorganize any air. if the weather is bad next impulse the air doesn't help all that much and then the HQs are needed to reorganize land units. And if the weather is nice then LND3 bombers should be enough for that impulse.
