I think I broke my new game

Post by MikeC317 »

I was trying to convert a TOAW III scenario to TOAW IV. I had the TOAW III scenario stored on a flash drive, drive k. I loaded the scenario into TOAW IV from the flash drive easy enough. Now when I want to resave it as a TOAW IV scenario the directory defaults to the flash drive. I want to save it in the TOAW IV scenario folder. But I don't know where that is. Worse, now I can't load ANY scenario supplied with the game into the editor as it now defaults to the flash drive directory. What to do?

Its no problem, you didn't break anything. TOAW just saves last open directory. The default directory path for TOAW IV scenarios is...

C:\Users\<user>\Documents\My Games\The Operational Art of War IV\Scenarios

What gbaby said, and in Windows file manager you will just directly see your Documents folder and you can go from there
