RE: ALLENK, MAYHEMIZER AND THEIR ALLIES ONLY (Reverse AAR)
Game 2:
Full pass is tempting (50% chance for turn end). But if that fails, France is in trouble. China might also want to move some units.
If we don't want to take risk with full pass, here are things I suggest we do in France:
France takes land action, USSR takes combined.
1) France rail INF from Vichy to Marseilles.
2) France moves MIL from 54,31 to Paris (Germany can paradrop to Paris next impulse)
3) MIL from Lille to 54,31 with ARM.
4) INF from Lyons to 56,30 (SE of Paris).
5) INF SE of Lyons to Lyons.
6) CW takes Lille.
USSR also moves some of their units.

I'm guessing if the turn ended but we lost the initiative we would pretty much be in the same situation. Best to make the land moves. Turn still might end.

Later today I can play. You can start with any naval moves or send instructions for impulse. Or play to land move phase.

Can CW send any land unit to Morocco? Italian as advancing in Algeria and they must be stopped before they enter Morocco.

To do it in 1 impulse would need to use Dutch TRANS in London to take unit there to Gibraltar and TRANS in Plymouth to go to West Med to pick up TERR in Gib to disembark in Morocco. Assuming no problems with FTC or TERR deployment. Leaves empty TRANS exposed in 1-box unless French can add some ships. Also leaves UK with one disorganised unit only.
Other units are in Cape Town and Bombay. 4 moving TRANS is on its way down to Cape Town. Next turn before they can bring a unit to Casablanca. Queens are on East African coast but not available until next turn.
Could extract Wavell and get him down to Casablanca in 2 impulses. He then rails along. Wavell's place taken by London unit.

Okay turn ended. Will see whether bringing 4 moving TRANS back to UK will help. If not, other options are still viable.

Knocking that PARA unit out and one of those long-range bombers was a break. It removes a nasty lurking threat of it dropping anywhere within the range of those transports.

I would say send any (weak) unit to Morocco. Italian unit can't attack in OOS.ORIGINAL: AllenK

I would say we need Wavell in France. Move him next impulse to France and start walking/rail him to Bordeaux are. That way CW can keep 4 units in France. Can CW leave Antwerp alone when French line collapses and take 4 corps to France ready to retreat Bordeaux and Bayonne area? I think Germany is preparing to 1941 Barbarossa as they build tanks. It's already S/O and they are 3 hexes from Paris. They will fight in mud and snow now (hopefully). USSR build up forces to eastern border to keep pressure up. I would like to see Germany in situation that USSR builds forces in east and CW has annoying amount of units in SW France.
Germany has paratrooper, but if I remember right, their AMPH is damaged.

Can we keep current Italian units in France and Germany starts sending units to Italy? So that when Italy collapses there are many units outside Italy? Italian GARR and MIL units can defend southern cities and ports. Better units can defend center (Rome) and German units takes Alps in level of Florence?

Take a look USSR. Not looking very good. Germany can advance a little bit, but not very much. Germany will advance to river Dnieper in south this impulse and see how USSR reacts. Germany has 1 O-Chit left.

Yes, AMPH damaged so will need to see if it gets repaired.
Problem with when the line collapses, it might block the rail paths before I can rail out. That's partly why I want the TRANS on stand-bye, so the HQ's at least can be pulled out and redeployed to Bayonne.
Was getting Morocco and Algeria mixed up. Will bring MIL from Cape Town to Morocco.

I think CW should draw HQs behind line asap so that they cannot be blocked from moving SW. Also TRS in UK is handy for emergency.

Agree regarding Italian units in France but also need some in Southern Italy and Sicily.
USSR looks better than I thought. I haven't really been paying much attention as it's very much the German show.
In North I would set defence along the river Dvina, possibly abandon Riga and north Latvia. See if you can take out the units at Vitebsk and in the forest to the south. Moscow MIL and Smolensk would be good as the next phase, giving you the opportunity of deploying along the northern Dnieper. If USSR wants to cross over to contest, they will lose the defensive bonus and be easier to kill.
In the South, it looks like you get a pretty good attack on Kiev, then deploy to Dnieper as you suggest. If you can get good odds on Dnepropetrovsk then also worth doing.
Keep killing USSR units. At the least it will slow down the rate of growth. At some point they may get some poor combat rolls. At Murkden, it could have gone very pear shaped if the rolls had gone differently.

Best way would be to abandon Antwerp next impulse we move. HQ's pull back. GARR and INF go to Lille. Units in Antwerp take their place.
It does free up a German corps for the front. I don't think they would risk leaving only 1 in Antwerp as too easy for CW to counter-attack using shore bombardment support.

Dont look very good; seems Russia had stopped germans and its accumalate resources and Tanks as shown¡
so its better this time; not expend too much oil for other purposes; maybe the Alamain path is possible.

Can Italy initiate combat in BoB?
No air missions for Germany. I save them for rebase. Germany takes land action.
What do we do with Italian units? Can they defend France in south and west as shown in picture and some units in Pyrenees? Germany leaves units to Pyrenees.
Germany can start sending units to northern Italy right away. What do you think about this?

Italy will do a Combined to initiate combat in Biscay.
I'll assume German units will defend Italy north of Rome and do a stock-take of units available for Southern Italy, South and South-West France and see what is feasible.
