Elmer?

Post by michacey »

While browsing the forum, I have noticed many referrals to Elmer. Who is Elmer and what does it/he do?
Thanks.

It's the nickname for the AI, especially the part of it you can use to assist you, the player, but also, I think the enemy AI. The forums and docs are also littered with references to the 'PO' which took me a while to work out. Programmed Opponent. Or, the AI, again.

Elmer basically allows you to turn over specified functions to the computer, helping with large scenarios.

Did you read the Elmer Assist Primer in the manuals folder, Jason?

That might do just the trick. Alas, I am not the PO/Elmer guru, that's Bob Cross.
