Transporting Ordnance

Post by lk2500 »

I recently read several books on the Pacific Theater (Guadalcanal Diary, At Close Quarters, USS Seawolf, The Saga of Pappy Gun, Ghost Soldiers, We Band of Angels) so I thought I'd give rico's Japan Pack a try.

Being an Aerospace Engineer I really enjoyed the Pappy Gun story - especially when he has to back to California to show the idiot engineers how to mount the gun pack in the nose of the B-25's (that the engineers claimed was impossible, lol).

Anyway - in the Vella Lavella scenario - Is there a way to transport my ordnance (81mm mortar and 155mm gun) off the beach with the halftracks or are they stuck in position on the beach after I land?

Thanks for the Japan Pack rico, good stuff! The Japanese offboard artillery is pure evil in this one.

Also - I am confused by interdiction - is it explained somewhere when I can and can't interdict an enemy routing unit?

It is not possible to move ordnance when playing against AI, only when playing Human vs Human.

Interdiction is found in the glossary of the manual (Appendix 10)
