Making the arrowheads easier to see

Post by Shadrach »

I've found it really hard to see the arrowhead overlay in the attack planner, and a bit also on the map. Dark red arrows on usually dark green/grey units is not a good combination, especially with my slight red/green colour blindness which makes red on green really hard to see.

So I'd like to suggest these be made easier to see, I suggest golden or just white.
Maybe they could even be made bigger than the default little tick in the planner?

Anyway I'd prefer golden so I've made a small mod, plop these in the Graphics Override as usual.

Sample:

This is also more consistent with the golden outline of selected ground attack units.

Note I'm not really sure where those lie in the yellow/green spectrum - not good with those shades either [8D]

Suggestions/improvements welcome.

Nice ones too there. It looks like there's some contours to them as well, makes them stand out a bit.

Care to share?

Are you using a mod that makes the formation of the selected unit stand out more? I need that.

I replaced the old steel and brass cursors already back in the TOAWIII days...
The new png versions can be found here as part of my visibility mod
