Op Mo scenario against AI reverts to 2-player

I had been playing along on Scenario 6, Operation Mo, as the Allies and had gotten to around June 10 when suddenly after the resolution phase, the orders menu came up for the IJN! I simply hit the End Orders button and went ahead to my own phase, but I can't help thinking there won't be much point in playing on.
Is this a known problem? Is there much chace I can go back to a previous saved position around 6-10-42 and complete the game? Thanks in advance,

You can actually start a game vs IJN AI and save it BUT if you happen to open your latest save file under the "head to head" setting you will be able to play the IJN the very next turn after ending your USN turn and watching the replay.

So my request to you is to reopen your latest saved file but make sure you open it under the "japanese computer" setting.
