Got a new laptop - mid range machine with a video card- happy BlackFriday

Purchased another copy and downloaded the links; contribute to the cause old machine crapped out

Cannot update to version 1.24 etc etc - it came installed with version 1.0 ???

When I run the updater I get the following message

Runtime error!

Programix .... ...\update exe

Abnormal program termination

Sigh laptops -

I seem to have the update now ~ 1 71124 AND

Set my switches -wd -pxf1920 -pyf1080 -archive -deepColor -multiaudio -dd_sw -altFont

has a Geoforce GTX 1050

Cannot seem to get game to "center in screen" - there was a thread on that some time ago but I cannot locate the resolution.

Cannot Scroll to east coast USA for example

Try to right click your mouse on desktop and go to intel graphic settings. Then click display and you should see the above screen. Tick the boxes.

Also helps to remember some old lore - I think is accurate - at least it worked.

The display on the laptop / screen has to be set larger than 1920x1080
