Why to HQ units have a DBR?

Post by Fred98 »

I am checking how the DBR works. I note it is a short cut way to see the ranges of all my artillery across the map.

Why do HQ units have a DBR?

In particular, the line is red implying HQ have inbuilt artillery. In the unit report the artillery range is zero.

The red circle is basically the range where the HQ can contribute it's benefits for units of it's own or other formation; supply recovery, etc. The white/lighter circle would be the range of artillery pieces (if available of course).

Is there a way to change the HQ range to a different colour.

It is handy to be able to see the ranges of all my artillery across the map.

The Headquarters icon has the Artillery capability.

(D)efensive (B)ombardment (R)ange ! Disclaimer: Not 100% sure about the D though, but it makes sense.
