USING CARRIERS

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Hold down the shift key to enter "air mode" - you should see red "?" characters over hexes - you can perform recon missions this way. Warning - if you go outside of your air range and click on a hex there, the carrier will still move there, even if you have the shift key pressed, which is probably not what you want...

Although if you directly target an enemy unit of resource, you don't need to use the shift key (but can)

You can use your carrier planes before or after you've moved the carrier.

But you can only fly in calm sea zones, so you don't want move into bad weather zones if you haven't used the planes before your movement. At least not, if your plan was to use the planes after your movement...
