A suggestion for a suggestions thread or subforum

Post by CaptainKoloth »

I'd like to make a suggestion for a subforum of suggestions or requests for scenarios. As someone completely new to TOAW with IV I've been experimenting with the editor, which is fantastic, but I've been realizing that making an accurate scenario that plays well is quite a talent. On the other hand there are I'm sure many members here that have been making scenarios for years and are much more skilled than some of us might be in creating scenarios. So in the spirit of the all the two-sided platforms (like Uber and Lyft) that are so hot these days, may I suggest a thread or subforum for requests/suggestions for/help with scenario creation to match up those with ideas and those who are very skilled at making scenarios?

As I take it you are completely new, first of all welcome here.

Are you aware we have a Mods and Scenarios forum already and does it not help you?

I've seen several threads there shut down and the OPs explicitly told those forums are not for requests or suggestions. Hence this suggestion.

That doesn't sound very friendly or helpful. I'm sorry for whoever did that to you. I think your suggestion
has merit. Count me in. I'd like to learn more about scenario design my own self.

There should be a Scenario Design area, as in the TOAW III Forum. As far as I know, them's that be in charge are working on a better organization of our forum here.
