Any method to download scenarios in online challenges?

Post by NikolaiEzhov »

On the online challenge board there are always unfamiliar and unofficial scenarios, e.g. "Tutorial 1".
If I just take the challenge I will have to face a total unfamiliar scenario, and sometimes these scenarios may have contents undesired by particular players, for example, some one would hate to orchestrate an amphibious invasion.
So if there any method to download the scenario without taking the challenge?

Hopefully the name of the scenario you're going to play is available from those submitted recently or somebody
has updated an old copy or something. What are you looking for? Do you want the PBEM++ system
to allow you to download the scenario without having to play it too? Or something?

My question is, and forgive me being a n00b there, how on earth does it work anyway? I always get the message INVALID SERIAL NUMBER. Ain't kidding lads. Is some sort of registration required?! Seriously.

That's weird. Have you ever renewed your serial number after the release of the game?
If you've done so, you should contact Tamas.

All done by the book; even registered the serial number and it's of course validated; otherwise I couldn't have registered at My Serial Numbers at the Matrix Games site in the 1st place. Anyway, I am not 'fan' of server PBEM; but would have liked to see how it works at least LOL.

It would be nice to implement an on line scenario database, like in Fields of Glory II

I like the sound of that. Scenarios available at any time of the day, anywhere in the world.

The big step ahead in Fields of Glory II, is having that database embedded in the interface.
Moreover, you get a warning every time a new scenario is added to the list.

Just started a PBEM, moved my turn & when it was finished a save (of a .PBL file) dialog box came up.

After that dialog box was closed, it sent the turn to my opponent.

Can you please post in the support forum? I'm not sure I could troubleshoot something like that.
