What are the folks who are posting youtube videos of play throughs using to make the videos? I'd assume there are numerous options, I'd be most interested in any that are free.

ShareX is open source and free on steam. I find it pretty easy to use.

Thanks, I'll look into that. Does that allow you to edit the movies you make as well? Does it capture audio if you speak into the microphone and also in game audio?

Open Broadcaster is a good capture or streaming option.
