Combat Results not appearing

Post by warspite1 »

In my AAR for the last two turns the Combat Results for the Axis have failed to appear. Could I have accidentally pressed a button to stop this appearing (i.e. is this an option?) or is this a bug please?

Thank-you. No it was off. That is strange because I have been nowhere near that form so it is bizarre that it has just turned off in the last two Axis turns. The Air Assistant was showing as on too....

I'll see what happens next turn and hope for the best.

You could try this button to see if the last result combat reports are available. Don't know if is gonna work because you have the detailed reports OFF. But no harm in trying

Right so this wasn't it. This button brings up the detailed reports after every single battle, as opposed to just the summary. As it turns out I much prefer the detailed report per battle (I wish I knew about that from the start and will leave on) but something changed as the combat summary just disappeared for seemingly no reason.

So you are missing the summary at the end/beginning of the turn? Weird.
Do this button works?

No - its always blank. The summary appears at the end of the turn and the start of the CW player turn, but there's never an opportunity (that I know of ) to recall it if you've missed either of those opportunities to view it.

Edit: Hold on - what you posted in post 4 might work though. Still weird that it chose to stop appearing but looks like there may be a manual way after all. I'll check it next turn.

You could post your "opart 4.ini" file so I compare it with mine.
Is in the C:\Users\--\Documents\My Games\The Operational Art of War IV folder
