Quality, where?

Hi,
taken from Manual, page 27:
"Please note: the size of the golden disk at the ship’s tail represents
Quality."

Doeas anybody know where's the golden disk? And its function...

It's at the stern. However, it isn't that easy to distinguish between, say, two stars and three stars - better to hover your cursor over the ship you're inspecting.

It's simply the vertical golden disk that's at every ship's stern. You need to zoom in to see it more clearly. It might help if you set up a skirmish and buy two identical ships where one has one star quality and the other four star quality, and compare them side by side.

It doesn't have any influence in the game other than as an extra expression of crew quality, which is of course very important. Just some eye-candy - nothing like watching a four star enemy ship with its big, fat disc get rammed. [8D]
