New stuff?

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

New stuff?

Post by demyansk »

I am playing the game again after months of not playing. I was wondering, I read somewhere, can't remember of new maps and other scenarios. Which scenario has Gelnhausen on it?

By the way, what the best way to select the entire stack?

You can Shift-click on units to select a group for a single order. Selected units will have a yellow outline around the counter. This also works in the flyout dialog for a stack, and I'm pretty sure you can Shift click in the OOB tree as well.

There are also Ctrl-click and Alt-click which allow you to select a group based on the local HQ or show you all the units in the local (or down the OOB chain) from the selected unit.

There are also hotkeys for rotating the stack.

Thanks guys, I wish a double click on the stack would select all units.

Still a good game but scenario selection takes time
