Once more into the Breech with D21

The 255th Infantry Division is emerging from the southeast corner of the marshes and what does he see but the way seems
clear to about four different Soviet river crossings. There's a decided lack of manpower here right now. I'll have to
make adjustments and see if I can't get more people up here.

I'm at the stage down south at the Stalin Line where I've gotten a little bit behind schedule and I need to make up about
half a turn's worth of progress and I wanted to infiltrate some people into the Soviet lines to surround some of them
first before I kill them but I've gotten into a hurry and so I'll blast this Soviet fort to see if it'll disentranch and
if so then it's fair game for a raid.

Here's the front lines in T6 before I have moved anybody. I need this view from time to time to remind me where the
troops are too sparse and where they tend to clump up.

Here's the Minsk area now. I've gotten some units up in the city taking up any retreat space so that the take down will
proceed more quickly. Also, the Axis units are bumping up against the river and I'm eyeing the river crossings.

Here's the Riga area right now. I've been moving units and they are spreading out racing down the roads converting the
rails hunting Soviet units. It appears that the area is largely empty of Soviet units.

Down south I appear to have blown a hole in the Stalin Line and the recon units have made an orbit around the Soviet
lines and have joined in the backfield and have thereby isolated a largish group of Soviet units so the attacking
can get serious.

The Soviet defenders on the river crossing over the Prut river were weak and I defeated them and now the Romanians
are racing to get to Odessa soonest. There are other river crossings that have been forced and the Axis forces are
now firmly into the area between the major rivers.

Here's a look at what's left of the Stalin Line down south right now. This is probably the only part of the entire
game when the Axis forces outnumber the Soviets. That will change by turn 10 or so.

Here's the area to the east of Minsk and you can see my next major goal: The Dneper river. It might be a hassle
getting across it in the face of Soviet defenders with arty. We'll see how hard it is.

Here's the north right now. I've been moving units and those HQ units out in the open aren't going to be unprotected
soon as I move some more units up taking up positions around them. The Panzer units are getting tired because they go
through a lot of supply quickly because of their long range so I have to rest them for a turn every once in a while.
The regular leg infantry is following up closely to provide their support and there's plenty of HQ's to go around.

Daugavpils is kind of important to me because I want to run a rail through there and not far from Daug. there's the
single digit supply areas already. I can't get much further from the rails and still operate efficiently.

I made this picture to show me where the RR engineers are right now, because that's the railhead, and I've determined
that the rails near Minsk needed a higher priority than they were getting and those down south were almost at the
front lines already. So I moved them to closer to Minsk. I also wanted a rail to pass through Daugavpils but I'm
short of RR engineers just now. Maybe when the mud season starts up I can get caught up repairing the rails.

I've got LCU's reaching the town of Pskov which is a benchmark for my schedule and I'm thinking I'm still on track and
everything is going well. I've been parseling out the various units to a path that will balance the needs of the war
with how many units I have to go around. I'm outnumbered in this game and there are no extra units to make a reserve
with. I'm uncomfortable with no reserve.

About thirty hexes south of Pskov there's a town called Opochka and near there I've driven a recon unit into the
conjunction of two hexes that each have a large Soviet unit in it. I've gotten my recon units too far out again.
Victory disease bit me again and I'm probably going to lose that recon unit.

Northeast of the Marshes I have defeated the Soviet river crossing defender and I'm streaming units across to get ready
to try to cross the next river in the path to the east.

Here's the Orsha area right now. Axis units are getting ready to approach the Dneper river, the last major river before
the next one. From Orsha north for about 8 hexes there's relatively clear terrain and no river and I'm planning on
trying to force some passage through there.
