Returning Ships

When Ships are returned after a withdrawal. Do they return with the upgrades appropriate for the return date?

Yes, all upgrades which are due while the ship is off map will be completed....GP

In the case of some heavily damaged ships withdrawn, it is possible the return will be delayed to cover some of the repair time.

Be forewarned: returning ships that have previously been withdrawn will come back with up-to-date upgrades ONLY if upgrade:on had been selected prior to withdrawal. I made that "OOPS!" mistake a time or two before ensuring that upgrades were turned on prior to departure.
