Intercept ground strike. Land back to same hex where it is now.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The fighters of JG5 are ordered to try and intercept the interceptors (6-factor Bf-109). Thank-you

Alas, PX stands for pilot lost. So the German pilot was lost while the French survived to fight another day.

Germany rail one GARR from Kiel to Warsaw.

Italian forces capture Lyons.

Japanese forces concentrate on Sian.

Over to Warspite1 for the remainder of the impulse.

Sep/Oct 1940
Impulse: 7 (Axis)

Land Combat:
Germany

Three attacks declared:
(54,31) - Odds 54:16 or 3:1 +4
(56,31) - Odds 15:1 or Automatic
Vichy - Odds 17.5:4 or 4:1 +1

Italy
Mussolini orders his armies to "stop muckin' abaht, an' start bleedin' attackin'". Quite why he said this in the style of Ray Winstone is something of a mystery - Odds: 21:3 or 7:1

Japan
An attack on Sian is ordered. Odds 40:8 or 5:1 no modifiers

Yes please, maximum bombardment with minimum number if ships.

In north ARM is the first saved unit.

In south, if overrun, ships to Bordeaux if possible. If not possible, to port adjacent to Marseilles.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

The Dunkerque and Primaguet close into the shore to aid the defence of Marseilles.

Edit: Beaten to the draw by the French commander[8D].

Gents - I used Richelieu and Primaguet for the required 3-points. I don't think this makes any difference, so unless you say otherwise I will continue.

The Germans bring in no ground support.

The Regia Aeronautica bring in the last of their bombers - a Z506B - to add its factors to the attack on Marseilles and then lands in Genoa.

Land Combat (cont):

I will get the automatic attack out of the way first. Two infantry corps and the AT division move into the forest vacated by the French division.
