scenario documentation button not working?

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

scenario documentation button not working?

The documentation button on the scenario selection screen did nothing when I first installed the game. It was particularly annoying when trying to play the tutorial scenarios. Searching around the forums, I finally figured out that .doc files were available, but I needed to install a .doc reader.

After installing libreoffice (freeware) the problem was solved.

Hopefully this tip will help other newbies get started. If this has already been reported here, forgive me for the repetition.

I use LibreOffice to convert doc and other word files to PDF. And with a lightweight PDF reader like Sumatra these open fast
