Okay. But perhaps look at 2 oil on the odd occasion if necessary i.e. a heavy usage turn. However I will try and plan on the basis I only have one available for re-organisation. Deal?

Don't forget, we can always tick the option to share oil. If Italy needs a couple of extra units reorganised and doesn't want to spend 2 oils, it can come from German oil. Deal.

Right so I shall be on the look out for trying to get Italy into the war at earliest (hopefully) opportune moment.

Good evening old boy,

I think we need to consider what we might throw together for the next impulse in Nordic 1. Germany will do a land to keep moving units to the west. Don't think I'll try a Belgium DoW until more units and the HQ's in place.

Good evening sir!

I am looking at a plan of action to try and bring Italy into the war. It won't be overnight, and any action needs to be suitably disguised (to the extent it can be). I will be doing a combined (obvs) in the meantime with both Italy and Japan. Despite Mayhemizer's comment, that weather actually worked out perfectly for them - we have rain where we want to attack and they have clear in Iran. That being the case I might as well get my units to be transferred overseas done now. Shall I do the first part of the turn? If so please let me have your orderz as and when it is convenient.

Germany will go land. Nothing to do until land movement. If you do the impulse for Italy and Japan up until land movement and then send the file and any combat, rebase and reorg instructions over to me, I'll take it from there.

Good evening old bean!

Might one enquire as to whether you are doing the first part of the Game 4? To recap, the French are doing a Land and there are no orders ahead of the movement phase.

Toodle pip!

Hello my dear fellow,

I do believe I E-mailed you the game file somewhere around the 24th December. Just in case it got lost in the tubes, I've resent it to you so you can complete the impulse.

Looks like we're batting on something of a sticky wicket old boy. Any big ideas for Belgium? I am assuming we align to the CW as usual and, given they are in Rotterdam, then we have to set up Liege, Brussels and Antwerp? FTR I guess it doesn't really matter so northwest Belgium sounds sensible.

What a contrast between games with the turn length first turn and the weather!

No FTR in 1939.

I've gone for putting two units in Antwerp and leaving Brussels empty. If we get lucky with the Antwerp defence, we'll be able to occupy Brussels next impulse. With only 1 unit in Antwerp, it'll be brushed aside easily, Brussels will be isolated and easily taken in the next Axis impulse.

Good evening old chap,

Not much to do in Nordic 1 on account of the weather. Germany will do a combined to move a couple of units further forwards and send the Convoys into the Baltic.

Good evening to you sir. Mmmm somewhat inclement weather for the time of year what? I shall take a look but suspect it will be a nil return for the Italians (combined but no orders) and a case of moving what I can for Japan (land). Do you want to do the first part of the turn? No orders from this side of the Axis camp ahead of movement.

Well, with the longer first turn length and somewhat better weather in both turns, the Axis in Nordic 2 are going to be rather ahead of where we are in Nordic 1. Let's hope things even up a bit to frustrate their second phase plans.
