Why are my carriers not running away at full speed?

Post by BlindOne »

I have carriers on evade/evade and they just seem to be too fucking stupid and run themselves into bases and enemy ships all the time...at the same time they seem to only use half of their engine capacity to run away IF they even do that at all...most of the times they'll just fly straight to the enemy and swivel in front of their faces waiting for them to blast them...wtf

Am I doing it wrong?[:(]

Seriously I build you guys with 33 speed and all you do is run away at 10 speed because you're ''slowed''...WHY?! WHY!!!!!

I figured out why they're probably only going at half speed...they're trying to warp out and just shut down their engines or something to engage warp...uhuh...yeah...guess I'll need to give them more juice so they both warp and run full throttle?

That solves that but why do they fly into enemy ships when I've got them on evade/evade?

That is because they are probably only able to evade one ship at a time.

Be approached by nasty enemy below. Turn away, focus all on getting away from him, running into the rest of the enemy fleet above. And keep going that way, because the original enemy is still following and needs to be evaded.
