Request technical informations about the ADM-141C ITALD

I've created a mission (wild weasel 1).
The F/A 18 Flight 4502 is armed with the ADM-141C ITALD.
After the take-off the F/A 18 Flight 4502 Return immediately to the aircraft carrier.
There is something I don't get it.
I know the ADM-141C ITALD is just a decoy to deceive the enemy air defense (SAM) to improve the elimination of the hostile SAM.
Unfortunately, I didn't find anything in the instruction manual.
I'd like to know how to perform a mission and how to work precisely the ADM-141C ITALD to improve the probability of the suppression of the enemy air defense.
