Won't Install

Hi, I just purchased the game and it's crashing during install (Not Responding)
I tried several times, and I also tried to install on different drives. I tried 4 times. It always crashes during isntall but at different points of progress.
Any Idea ?

PS: I have Windows 7

OK I managed to have it working. I disabled AVAST and it was able to comnplete the installation without crashing.

my opinion would be just to ditch Avast and get a better more game friendly AV, as imo you have the worst, any other would be better for gaming

I personally still use the Windows one, LOL, so far no problems. I always make sure I don't go to 'seedy' sites or click on every link that pops up.

I use the MS one too, but avoiding the sketchiest parts of the net, not doing anything stupid, and not being a candidate for targeted attacks is sort of a requirement for it being a good recommendation. MSE's aggressiveness levels are relatively low; which means that it's less likely to break random stuff accidentally by being overbearing, but also less likely to catch weird/very uncommon attacks.

IF you don't have kids (kids do stupid stuff), don't do anything stupid, aren't a target, and haven't been infected for several years MSE is good enough. If any of the former apply, you probably do need a more aggressive 3rd party solution. Unfortunately I don't have any of the latter to recommend because I've used MS's products for the last 7 or 8 years myself.
