MPPS for minors

Post by nnason »

All,
Clearly the earlier you take a minor the better the total collection of MPP.

I am reviewing table in manual under paragraph 7.19 Resource MPP Values. And I am not clear on what MPPs I would get for Algeria. I add up and get I think 78 which would mean a base of 7.8 times 100% for 7.8 MPPS per turn is this correct?
I am in late 1941 and wonder if it is worth the Amphib/transport costs to go after Algeria when Allies might try to take back in mid-1942.

Has anyone figured out how many MPPS each minor gives when totally captured?

Per turn or do you mean the one-off loot after they surrender?

Well I have both questions. I read somewhere that the surrender loot amount was related to how many of the enemy units were not killed. In other words more loot if more enemy units remain. Is this true?

Question above is the per month improvements you get from surrendered minors.

Yes, but possibly less experience for your units and reduced surrender chance e.g. with France it's possibly to capture Paris but still not have France surrender, if they haven't list many units

I don't know the answer to that, sorry

You would have to add up their resources, factoring in their resource strength and economic value per strength point, and manually add them up.

Maybe one day this can be built into the game more, I would certainly find it useful from a design perspective as well as from a playing perspective. I'll speak to Hubert about it at an appropriate moment.

Are the values of ressources as shown in the map correct, and is there a specific industrial modifier for every minor nation?

Industrial Modifiers don't apply to Minors, so they have a direct relationship between the MPP values shown per resource strength point, and that resource's strength.

This actually makes them easier to count up, as it's a more direct relationship than with a Major.
