Screen turns black when battle resolution

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

Screen turns black when battle resolution

I played 4.0.1.23 beta version.
Screen center area turns black when battle occurs.
I can only hear the combat sound.
When battle ends screen come back to normal.
Please, help
