How to read Military Reports?

Post by michaelspotts »

At start of turn playing Russian Revolution I see a box labeled Military Activity with several summary reports. I can also get this to appear with the L key.

How then do I open the reports in the white box labels like "Bolshevik Situation Report" and etc. Any key, any cursor click merely closes the whole Military Report???

Thanks for any help.

Hi Michael

Those reports cannot be seen again, they will appear at the start of the turn for the relevant side, so will need to be viewed then.

If you're playing the Whites then you will only be able to see ones relevant to that side.

That said, all the images like this can be found within the Media sub folder for that particular campaign within the game's main installation.

Thanks for reply, Bill. I can reference the strategy advice popups fine in strategy guide. But is there any way to read this Military report at the beginning of turn, anyway to read one of the white boxes labeled "Bolshevik Situation Report"? Can I read the individual reports with their labels in white boxes?

Thanks for your time and help.

Hi Michael

I've replied in the other thread, as if you are Bolshevik you should be able to read them in the turn they appear, but if you are White then the information contained in them is deliberately not available to be read by you. This way information can be shown to one side and not the other.

I hope that makes sense? [:)]

It does, Bill. My mistake and I worded the question wrong, was thinking that the white labels could be opened and read into deeper.
I purchased and am enjoying learning both latest SC and the WWI one. I was just on lookout for any more data - reviews of battles fought, etc.

Thanks for your wonderful support Bill. I am 62 dealing with medical issues that keep me immobile alot and the two games are a life send.

Thanks Michael, that's great to hear, and as this game used to be sold by Battlefront.com you might find some of the game reports there useful and interesting:

That forum isn't so active now, but there's still a lot of good content on it. [:)]
