Progress is slow, very slow.

Town of Rzhev was taken in the south. I am hunting for VPs!

Heavy find near Leningrad. Pushkin town was taken.

Damn, Moscow was so close!

Kolpino was taken.

Map is quite empty of SU units. How did you do that?

Scenario completed.

It's been a tough fight in Leningrad.
Soviet units moved from the NE corner and from the SE/S corners (let's say from Moscow) in order to take some important VP locations back.

I had to reorganize a bit my units to fight the NE corner push. Recon flights spotted a lot of SU units, I mean a lot!

Basically 2 battles were fought. One in the Leningrad suburbs, and the second one along a front running north/south and west/east.
Both fronts saw bitter fighting. German forces stopped the Soviet push and forced them slowly backward while the battle for Leningrad was turning into a blood bath.

Turn 11.
Soviet units came form the NE corner and formed a north/south front line.

Enemy units are stopped east of Novgorod.

Leningrad is taken. Let's keep it!

Soviet forces are slowly pushed back.

German reinforcements shipped near Leningrad.

Enemy reinforcements are joining the front line.

Leningrad beachhead secured.
German forces are pushing the Soviet units back along the front line.

Axis major victory. VP advantage 4.8 to 1.

Great scenario, really liked it.
I was not expecting the SU units push from Moscow area, luckily I left some units to secure the VP locations.
I was also not expecting the SU forces to be so numerous and to try to isolate the GE units near Leningrad.

Tons of fun (and a bit of swearing!).
