If you look closely, you can see Japanese characters on the cylinder looking thing on the wing.

Then up to the boat and back to Neco Marine and lunch at the Drop Off Bar and Grill.

I dove Truk in '94 and it was very exciting. I suspect you'd enjoy that.

After lunch and once we got cleaned up, we visited the Belau National Museum, which has a great history of the islands and the various occupation forces it has encountered.

It is now Sunday Jan 22, the day we board our boat for a week of diving. In the morning we have time for one more trip. Once again we drive North across the Japan-Palau Friendship Bridge to the large island of Babeldaob in search of more Japanese ruins.

Possibly an outrigger or part of the carriage frame from an artillery piece is my guess.

Edit: In fact I'm sure it is, after I originally posted, I noticed part of the wheel sticking out the rubble in the back.
