Transferring German Flak

Post by BK6583 »

Playing the Germans in the 44-45 D-Day campaign. One of the tutorials recommends transferring flak units from ports to set up flak 'walls' to protect German industrial centers. All well and good but unless I'm missing something it costs 1 admin point per transfer. Given the paucity of German admin points and other admin point priorities, and the ton of flak units located at these ports, this just doesn't seem practical. Is this transfer of flak units worth the effort?

Stick to movable Flak Regiments, then try heavy and mixed Flak Bns. You need light one for points defense vs low-level and strafing attacks

I assume moveable flak regiments are like normal units you move on the map...question is how do you place them?

No, they are support units typically attached to cities but also to some HQs. Most are locked in current game versions as they were static units but some are transferable.
