Viet Minh do not do anything in DBP

this is quite odd. The computer is playing the Viet Minh in the Dien Bien Phu sceanrio. The only thing they do is move next to French units, and launch an occasional bombardment attack that does no damage. All the French have to dod is stay put in their fortifications and the Viet Minh do nothing but bombard.

The list of scenarios on this forum says that this scenario can be played with the computer playing the Viet Minh.

Something is wrong here. Any help will be appreciated.

What's your actual version of TOAW IV? Did you update to the latest official patch 4.0.1.23?

I do have the latest patch. Obviously, it worked for you, and I assume that the Viet MInh was played by the computer in your try.

Yes. Ai vs. AI in fact; and at the end the French won LOL. Uncle Ho's boys did in fact real suicidal human wave attacks.

It works fine for me as well. The patch made the difference, as the problem arose before I installed the patch.
