How to review the map before the turn ends?

The sequel of the legendary wargame with a complete graphics and interface overhaul, major new gameplay and design features such as full naval combat modelling, improved supply handling, numerous increases to scenario parameters to better support large scenarios, and integrated PBEM++.

How to review the map before the turn ends?

Still trying to learn a difficult wargame.

I play Hotseat against myself, then set up situations and try things out.

I am aware there is an "End Turn" button. However sometimes I burn up all my rounds and the turn ends automatically before I have a chance to review the map.

If it were PBEM that would be a disaster!

Is there an option, to turn off the automatic ending of a turn?

Well if you're out of rounds, then you can't do anything anyway ... But I agree it would be nice to be able to consult the map before the enemy turn starts.
Maybe there's an option but no idea where ...
